Meet the Team

Just us! 4Paws Empire is run by two golden floofers, Leo & Karly, and their two hoomans, Damon & Glenna. We are just your typical home-based start-up business, operating out of spare rooms and the garage in our home. Glenna has a background in law & policy, and Damon has a background in design. Although neither of us had anything to do with dogs in our past careers, we have both loved and grown up with dogs from the very beginning.

In 2019, we realised we were doing it all wrong and hated our jobs. We love our dogs more than anything in this world, and we realized the market for dog harnesses was very limited in New Zealand. We could never find a harness we were truly satisfied with. After three years of planning, 4Paws Empire was established in 2022!

Since day one, we have been working tirelessly to create the ultimate dog harness and expand our product range to bring dogs and their hoomans the best of the best. We initially started by attending local markets and growing our online store. After receiving overwhelming positive feedback from all our customers, we decided to take the leap of faith and opened our first small dog store in Porirua, Wellington.
